Jammu, Feb 2- A deputation of the BJP legislators led by its party leader today called on the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and submitted a charter of demands to him. The delegation led by Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta comprised Ashok Khajuria, Jugal Kishore, Bharat Bhushan, Suknandan, Drag Dass, Sham Choudhary, Baldev Raj Sharma and Prof. Garu Ram. The charter of demands, among other things, include delimitation of constituencies, removal of discriminations among the three regions, adequate and timely supply of canal water/tube wells, seeds and fertilizer to the farmers, immediate implementation of 6th Pay Commission in favour of State Government employees, settlement of refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971and others, enhancement of labour wages from Rs.70 to 150 per day, regularization of casual labour as permanent daily wagers (PDL), conducting of revised survey of BPL/APL, restoration of electric supply without scheduled cuts both in city an rural areas, removal of discrimination under community participation scheme (enhancing wages from Rs.500, 800 and 2100 per month ), restoration of work on the railway track between Katra to Lohal and establishment of Basmati Expo Zone at RS Pura.
