DC Rajouri inaugurates Jan Aushadi Kendras

RAJOURI, Sept 17: In a significant step towards providing affordable and quality healthcare to the residents of Rajouri, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, inaugurated the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra at Old Bus Stand today.
The Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra will serve as a reliable source of generic medicines and healthcare items, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC Rajouri accentuated the commitment of the Government to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible to common man. “The Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra will play a pivotal role in ensuring that essential medicines are available to everyone at highly affordable prices. This initiative aligns with the vision of ‘Health for All,’ and it is a significant step towards achieving this goal,” he said.
The Kendra will offer a wide range of generic medicines, including those for chronic illnesses, at a fraction of the cost of their branded counterparts. Additionally, essential healthcare products and sanitary items will also be available, catering to the diverse needs of the community. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra is expected to benefit a vast population in and around Rajouri, especially those who may have previously faced financial constraints in accessing necessary medications. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Government to ensuring that quality healthcare is within the reach of every citizen, irrespective of their economic background. It is anticipated that the Kendra will have a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of the people of Rajouri.
