Missing women recovered within few hours: Reasi police

JAMMU, Sept 19: One person (name withheld) of Pouni lodged a written complaint on 18th of September 2023 at Police Post Bhambla that her wife (name withheld) went missing. He started searching for her but she could not be found anywhere. Sensing the gravity of incident SSP Reasi Amit Gupta-JKPS constituted a special team to trace out the missing women at the earliest. Enquiries from the family, relatives & friends gave sufficient clues of the missing women & accordingly sources of police were activated.
After meticulous track-following, with the help of technical assistance by ESU Reasi headed by PSI Vivek Choudhary & consistent hectic efforts, team of Police Post Bhambla zeroed upon the location of the women. Police team headed by PSI Jasbir Choudhary I/C PP Bhambla raided at different locations and recovered the missing women. The whole operation is led by SHO P/S Pouni Insp. Purab Singh under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs Reasi Neeraj Padyar-JKPS. After completing all the legal formalities the missing women reunited with her family. All family, relatives & community people expressed gratitude to Police for sincere efforts in searching & recovering the missing women. Reasi Police is being regularly briefed to remain sensitive towards crime against women especially minors further appealed that girls should remain aware of fraudsters who remain on the mission of spoiling the life of innocents
