Samba police arrest husband on wife's complaint for heinous offence

SAMBA, Sept 19: In a determined effort to combat crime against women, the Samba Police, under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh, has taken swift action and arrested a husband on a complaint filed by his wife. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana.
The arrested accused husband has been identified as Mohd Arif, son of Reham Din, residing at Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana, District Samba. A case FIR No. 220/2023 has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana, and the investigation is currently underway.
The apprehension of the accused husband was carried out by a dedicated Police team led by SHO P/S Bari Brahmana, Sumit Sharma, under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana, Rahul Nagar, and Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh, emphasized the commitment of the Police force in eradicating crime against women in the Samba district. He stated that the Police are resolute in addressing such crimes with the utmost severity to ensure the safety and security of women in the region.
