DPS Jammu students shine with gold medals in District level Badminton Championship

JAMMU, Sept 19: Students from Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu have once again showcased their sporting prowess, bringing pride to the school and their parents. They clinched gold medals in the Inter-School District level Badminton Championship, organized by District Youth Services and Sports at M.A Stadium, Jammu from September 12 to 15, 2023. Here are the details of the winning students:
Prabneet Kour (XII-A) - Gold medal in the U-19 age category.
Yashaswini Amit Pandoh (IX-A) - Gold medal in the U-17 age category.
Hunnarpreet Kour (VII-K) - Gold medal in the U-14 age category.
Divjot Kour (VIII-i) - Gold medal in the U-14 age category.
In addition to their gold medals, all the winners have also earned the opportunity to represent their school at the Inter-Division level championship, scheduled to be held in the near future.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including the honorable President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, the honorable PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, the honorable Director S.S Sodhi, along with Principal Ruchi Chabra, extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the winners, their parents, and their coach, Amar Jyoti Sharma, for his support. They also conveyed their best wishes for all their future endeavors.
Headmistress, Meenu Gupta, also praised the outstanding achievements of the students. The school takes pride in nurturing not only academic excellence but also sporting talent, ensuring holistic development of its students.
