| Huji District Commander apprehended | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 2- Police today achieved a major success by apprehending the Harqat-ul- Jahadi-Islami (Huji) District Commander who was active in Kishtwar district since last 15 years and was responsible for selective killings. The dreaded militant was apprehended by the operation party of Kishtwar Police at Watsar Chatroo of district Kishtwar along with AK 47 rifle, two magazines and 07 live rounds. The Kishtwar operation team on specific information cordoned off Waster Chatroo area and during search, presence of terrorists was established. He was offered to surrender, who without much resistance surrendered. He has been identified as Mohammed Abdullah son of Ghulam Bakerwal resident of Kanser Reasi . Police achieved a major success by apprehending the said dreaded terrorists as he was active since last fifteen years and was responsible for selective killings in Reasi and Kishtwar district. He was involved in a number of subversive activities including attacks on security forces, killing of innocent civilians, planting IED’s for inflicting heavy causalities among the security forces. People of the area have hailed the Police for apprehending the terrorist without causing any harm to locals or to property. According to IGP Jammu Zone, K. Rajendra Kumar apprehension of Pak trained terrorists is a great success to the security forces. He said it will give a severe blow to the outfit in the area and moreover the apprehended terrorist would provide vital information about other terrorists operating in the area.
