J&K High Court Bar Association organizes Dental Health Check-up Camp

JAMMU, Sept 20: The J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ) organized a Dental Health Check-up Camp in collaboration with the J&K State Legal Services Authority at the High Court Complex in Janipur. The camp was inaugurated by Justice Tashi Rabstan, Executive Chairman of the Legal Services Authority, and Companion Judges of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, in the presence of JKHCBAJ President Sr. Advocate Vikram Sharma.
Justice Tashi Rabstan commended the efforts of President Vikram Sharma and his team for organizing this event, emphasizing its potential benefits for the legal community and all those connected with it.
President Vikram Sharma assured that his team is eager to organize such free medical camps regularly for the association's members and their staff in the future. He expressed gratitude to the principal of the Government Dental College Jammu and the senior faculty for efficiently organizing the camp, providing necessary infrastructure and paramedical support. Vikram Sharma also thanked the J&K Legal Service Authority for permitting the camp within their premises.
The Vice President, Amit Gupta, and General Secretary, Parvesh Singh Salaria, briefed judges and members about the services available at the camp. Members of the association and their staff actively participated, receiving dental health check-ups, minor treatments, medicines, and medical advice as needed.
The event was attended by numerous senior and young lawyers, including former presidents and senior advocates such as V.R. Wazir, D K Khajuria, and S. D.S. Saini, among others. Young Lawyers Associations (YLA) office bearers, headed by President YLA Adv Rohit Sharma, Vice President Adv Gagan Deep Singh Lucky, and General Secretary Yaseer Khan, also participated in the camp organized by JKHCBAJ.
The camp received active support from the principal of the Government Dental College, Rakesh Gupta, as well as Dr. Ritesh Gupta MDS Orthodontics, Registrar of the Jammu Kashmir Dental Council, Dr. Satvinder Singh, Dr. Bhavana Koul, Dr. Iqbal Singh, Dr. Nanika Mahajan, Dr. Manisha, and others.
