Arrangements for Eid Milad-un- Nabi discussed in Ramban

RAMBAN, Sept 20: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of line departments and community leaders to discuss the arrangements for Eid- Milad-Un-Nabi (SW).
The discussion focused on the provision of uninterrupted power and water supply, and cleanliness around major Mosques.
He directed the concerned authorities to take measures to ensure a seamless availability of the essential services.
The Community leaders were principal participants of the meeting who also assured their unwavering support and cooperation to the district administration, underlining the significance of communal harmony during festive occasions.
Addressing the meeting, the DC emphasized that festivals are a reflection of the communal harmony and vibrant diversity that defines our nation.
He underscored the importance of festivals as occasions to celebrate devotion, share compassion and express love for one another. He extended his heartfelt best wishes to all, expressing his hope that the festival would be celebrated with great success, unity and joy.
The DC also directed the FCS&CA, Municipal, Food Safety and Legal Meteorology departments to conduct market checking to ensure availability of quality food and other essential items at genuine rates in the market besides ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation in the markets, especially around the religious places.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Harbans Sharma, ACR, Giasul Haq, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, and various senior officers from the FCS&CA, Jal Shakti and Power departments, Municipal Council etc.
