DODA, Sept 20: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, today conducted a whirlwind tour of Khellani Block and conducted surprise inspections of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Trauma Hospital and under construction 1.5 KM tunnel on NH244.
At GHSS Khellani, DC Mahajan checked the attendance record, Mid Day Meal and other essential records of the institution. He also interacted with the students and the staff of the institution. He directed the CEO to produce the record of leaves of the Principal and of those not available in the school. The purpose of the visit was to assess the overall condition of the schools and ensure that all necessary facilities are provided to the students. The DC encouraged the teachers to focus on teaching methodologies and gave valuable suggestions to improve the learning environment. The Deputy Commissioner also motivated the students to actively participate in learning activities, use smartphones and the technology to clear their doubts in their subjects and maintain discipline within the school premises and in their lives.
