DC reviews preparations for Eid Milad Ul Nabi (SAW) in Rajouri

RAJOURI, Sept 21: In a pivotal meeting, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, meticulously reviewed the arrangements for the Eid Milad Ul Nabi (SAW), alongside officers and representatives of various religious organizations. With unwavering focus, the meeting delved into essential facets such as seamless water and power supply, healthcare provisions, parking logistics, and efficient transport services.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the imperative duty of officers and officials to furnish the populace with indispensable amenities, encompassing potable water, sanitation, medical care, efficient transportation, uninterrupted power and water provisioning, and all other requisite essentials.
The vigilant law enforcement agencies received firm directives to deploy ample police personnel on this holy occasion, safeguarding the security of the public. Traffic authorities, likewise, were tasked with crafting a meticulous traffic management and parking strategy to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles on the designated day.
The DC enjoined the concerned authorities from the Power Development Department and Jal Shakti Department to guarantee uninterrupted power and water supply for the community during the festive period.
The concerned officer from the fire and emergency department received explicit instructions to maintain a state of readiness for fire tenders, both day and night. The Municipal Committee Executive Officer (EO) was mandated to ensure the cleanliness of the town throughout the festivities.
The Health Department was tasked with ensuring the availability of comprehensive medical facilities to address any potential emergencies. The Officer from the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department was instructed to intensify market inspections, curbing overpricing, profiteering, and black-market activities.
Deputy Commissioner impressively underscored the urgency of completing all essential festival-related preparations well in advance to ensure that the public encounters no inconvenience during these auspicious occasions.
SSP, Amrit Pal Singh; ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; DPO, Auqil Nuvaid; XEN PDD Rajouri; Rashid Chowdhury; XEN Jal Shakti EO MC Rajouri and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
Among the others, Molvi Farooq, Tazeem Dar, Iftqar Dar; Shafqat Mir; Asief Bhatt and other religious leaders were present during the meeting.
