Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 21: In the spirit of "Seva Pakhwada," a fortnight-long initiative, Rekha Mahajan, District President of Jammu South, inaugurated a free medical and health checkup camp in Gadigadh Mandal, District Jammu South. The event, organized by Mandal President Vijay Sharma and his team, aimed to provide essential medical services to the community and promote well-being. Rekha Mahajan was joined by Former MLC Vikram Randhawa and Senior Leader Pt. Ashok Khajuria in this noteworthy endeavor.
"Seva Pakhwada" is a two-week-long initiative undertaken by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to engage in service-focused programs, create awareness about various government welfare schemes, and launch community service campaigns.
The initiative, which began on September 17 and will continue until October 2, coincides with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
It aims to extend outreach programs at the District level in Jammu South, covering all Mandals within the district.
The free medical and health checkup camp was organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Indian System of Medicine, offering health assessments and distributing free medicines to the general public.
A team of doctors and staff examined more than 100 patients during the camp, providing them with medical advice and necessary medications.
Rekha Mahajan pledged her support for future initiatives and medical camps, expressing her commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
While distributing free medicines, Rekha Mahajan emphasized the importance of preventive measures and the consumption of immunity-boosting items to safeguard against infections.
She expressed her gratitude to the medical staff, the Director of the Indian System of Medicine, and their team for their efforts in organizing the free medical camp. Rekha Mahajan highlighted that the medicines provided are free from side effects and should be considered as an alternative to allopathic medicines.
Vikram Randhawa, Former MLC, praised the medical camp's provision of medicines that not only cure but also enhance the body's immune system, enabling it to combat infections from the outset.
He emphasized that when combined with activities like yoga and aerobic exercises, these medicines can work wonders in improving individuals' lives.
The free medical and health camp organized as part of "Seva Pakhwada" reflects the commitment of Rekha Mahajan, Vikram Randhawa, and their team to the well-being of the community, promoting preventive healthcare, and providing essential medical services to the people of Jammu South.
