JAMMU, Sept 21: A Juvenile has been taken into custody on Thursday after his luxurious SUV hit and dragged a man leaving him critically injured at Bhatindi area here.
A man identified as Elias Kazmi suffered serious injuries in a road rage when he was hit and dragged by the SUV driven by a Juvenile on Tuesday evening near Bhatindi.
The injured, however, is being treated at a city hospital and is under observation, said a family member.
Police said that the Juvenile, a resident of Hamza Colony, Bhatindi and son of a police officer has been identified and taken into the custody.
"The accused has been booked under relevant sections and sent to Juvenile Home, R S Pura," said police.
