Jammu, Sept 22: The Library Committee at MIER College of Education organized an orientation session on N-LIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content), specially designed for College Librarians from the Jammu Division. The primary objective was to keep these librarians well-informed about the latest N-LIST Resources. This orientation was conducted in a blended format, with more than 40 librarians representing various colleges, predominantly from Government Degree Colleges in the Jammu Division, participating in person. Additionally, over 20 participants joined the session online.
The key goals of this orientation were to enhance communication infrastructure, facilitate the exchange of information, and promote collaboration among relevant institutions to support learning, research, and academic endeavors. The event featured Mr. Ashok Kumar Rai, a Scientist F (Computer Science) from the INFLIBNET Centre in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, as the resource person.
