Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 22: In an inspiring initiative aimed at fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurship, a special campaign in Jammu and Kashmir had the privilege of meeting with the Chairperson of GD Goenka Public School, Mrs. Saniya, and Smt. Suman Bansal. The occasion was marked by the organization of a grand event designed to instill a strong message of self-reliance among students in Jammu.
The campaign, led by the Swadeshi Jagran Manch Jammu Mahanagar, is dedicated to promoting local products and the “Vocal for Local” initiative, emphasizing the importance of supporting and promoting indigenous goods. Central to this campaign is the concept of decentralized cooperation, which plays a pivotal role in empowering local businesses and communities.
During the visit of the honorable Shri Satish ji Bhai Saheb, a meeting took place with the Chairperson of GD Goenka Public School, Ms. Sania, and her mother, Mrs. Suman Bansal. This gathering was attended by Mrs. Anita, Mahila Pramukh of Swadeshi Jagran Manch Mahanagar, and Mr. Ravi Dogra, Mahanagar Sanyojak. The discussions held during the meeting served to strengthen the bonds of collaboration for the campaign.
The students of GD Goenka Public School expressed their delight at being a part of such a significant event. They affirmed their commitment to continue participating in the campaign and aspire to become successful entrepreneurs in the future. This aligns perfectly with the Swabhilambhi Bharat Abhiyan, a movement initiated by SJM JAMMU, which has been positively received. The campaign aims to educate and empower individuals about entrepreneurship, inspiring them to transition from job seekers to job providers.
It is heartening to see the enthusiasm of the students and the broader community in Jammu & Kashmir as they embrace the message of self-reliance and entrepreneurship. This initiative not only holds the promise of economic empowerment but also fosters a sense of pride and self-sufficiency among the youth, laying the foundation for a self-reliant India.
