9/22/2023 10:57:52 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 22: IZEL Salon-Spa-Aesthetic in association with Rionna D Studio House of Liggey today organized 3 days Fashion and Life Style exhibition Karvachauth and Diwali edit at Zone By the Park Hotel Rail Head Complex Jammu. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Spokesperson Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritika said that exhibition is witnessing a heavy footfall of members along with their families and guests.
The stalls comprised of jewelery, , bangles, Traditional Suits, Khadi Suits, Kashmiri and Rajasthani items, live snacks, and music at the exhibition have been specially curated to showcase everything that might be needed by women to wear, deck up their homes and help them prepare for not only for the festival of ‘Karva Chauth’ but also for Diwali thus making these festivals memorable.
Ritika asserted that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government has accorded top priority to women’s entrepreneurship as a result of which women across the nation including the Union Territory are availing the benefits of various schemes specially launched for them. She said that this has boosted the morale of women as these schemes ensure that they would not have to depend on others now.
Ritika said women entrepreneurs can be seen everywhere in the startup-up ecosystem of India.
Women too are seen leaving their high-profile jobs as well as some stepping out of the four walls of their homes and joining the pool of entrepreneurship in India.
“Women-owned businesses enterprises are playing a prominent role in society inspiring others and generating more employment opportunities in the country. However, to promote a balanced growth in the country, there is need for sustainable growth of women entrepreneurs,” she said, adding that at present women are more in numbers among the beneficiaries of significant Mudra schemes.
The increasing presence of women in the business field as entrepreneurs has led to the change in the demographic characteristics of business and economic growth of the country, she added.
She lauded organizer Mrs Ruchi Khare of exhibition for the strong initiative to become a job provider instead of a job seeker thus generating employment avenues, Ritika appealed to the women of J&K to come forward and establish their own ventures under the schemes rolled out by the Modi Government.
She said that Government has taken a number of steps to strengthen the cause of women’s empowerment. From Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao to improved health and education facilities and a range of initiatives to improve both their living conditions and their long-term prospects and the Government’s actions have touched a chord with the nation’s women, she asserted.
