AJBRCEAK commemorates 128th birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh

JAMMU, Sept 23: The All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees Association Kashmir (AJBRCEAK) celebrated the 128th Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh with fervor and deep respect. This commemorative event pays tribute to the illustrious legacy of Maharaja Hari Singh and his significant contributions to the region.
Chairman Vipen Kumar expressed the association's heartfelt wishes on this occasion and highlighted Maharaja Hari Singh's unwavering commitment to progressive reforms that uplifted society and propelled the region forward. His visionary initiatives have left an indelible mark on the history and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kumar emphasized the pride that the Dogra community feels for their visionary ruler, Maharaja Hari Singh. He recalled that it was Maharaja Hari Singh who signed the Instrument of Accession on October 26, 1947, aligning Jammu and Kashmir with the dominion of India. Despite his instrumental role in securing J&K's accession to India, Kumar expressed regret that the Maharaja has not received the recognition he truly deserves from successive governments, both at the Centre and in Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairman Vipen Kumar urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to follow the ideals of Maharaja Hari Singh, who played a pivotal role in the development, prosperity, and progress of erstwhile J&K. He highlighted the Maharaja's unparalleled contribution to education by making it compulsory for every section of society, thereby emphasizing holistic societal development. Maharaja Hari Singh's inclusive approach to providing equal access to temples for all communities in Jammu and Kashmir was also lauded.
Kumar underscored the rich cultural and historical background of Maharaja Hari Singh, which continues to have a special place in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. He praised the enduring legacy of communal harmony and brotherhood that the Dogras established during their rule.
In addition to commemorating Maharaja Hari Singh's birth anniversary, Chairman AJBRCEAK expressed optimism about the prospects for Jammu-based employees. He hoped for positive developments in resolving genuine issues faced by these employees, including the implementation of a comprehensive transfer policy. Kumar expressed confidence in the seriousness of the LG Administration in addressing the concerns of Jammu-based employees.
