Sham Lal Basson Initiates Lane, Drain Work in Ward No. 48

Jammu, Sept 24: Sham Lal Basson, Corporator of Ward No. 48, Bahu Fort, Jammu, inaugurated lane and drain work in New Basti, Bahu Fort, Jammu. He was joined by local residents and dignitaries, including Sham Lal Kalsi, Rajesh Kumar Ram Lal, Joginder Kumar, Om Parkash Thapa, Rattan Lal Basson, Krishan Lal Basson, Chander Parkash, Anil Bassan, Suresh Kumar, Raj Kumari, Kamal Kishore, Veero Devi, Sham Lal Menia, Shanker Dass, and Bansi Lal.
Sham Lal Basson stated that the lane and drain work is estimated to cost Rs 6.00 lakhs and will benefit the residents of New Basti, Bahu Fort. He emphasized that development works have been undertaken in a balanced manner across Ward No. 48. Additionally, he mentioned that various social welfare schemes, including widow, old age, and disabled pensions, have been extended to deserving beneficiaries. The residents of New Basti, Bahu Fort, expressed their gratitude to Sham Lal Basson for his efforts in their community.
Sham Lal Basson also highlighted that door-to-door services have been provided to the people of Ward No. 48, including the preparation and distribution of over 400 caste certificates. Domicile certificates and Sehat cards (Golden cards) were also delivered to residents at their homes. This approach has made essential services more accessible to the local population.
Furthermore, Sham Lal Basson inaugurated another lane and drain work in Kalika Colony, Bahu Fort, Jammu, with the presence of Joginder Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Sheela Devi, and Ram Kumar. The residents of Kalika Colony expressed their appreciation for his dedication to community development and his willingness to assist those in need.
Manoj Kumar commended Sham Lal Basson for his non-partisan approach, emphasizing that he consistently supports and helps needy individuals not only in Bahu Fort but throughout the Jammu province. Sham Lal Basson’s commitment to public service extends beyond party politics.
