Jammu, Sept 25: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, PS Akhnoor , PP Phallain Mandal and PP Sidhra acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 06 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One Tractor Trolley without Registration Nos, by PS Nagrota.
One tractor trolley bearing Registration No JK02CS 0346 by PS Akhnoor
One Tractor trolley bearing chasis no. MBNBG55AENCD3398, by PP Phallain Mandal
03 vehicles i.e One Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No MBNAK49AHPTG09293, one dumper bearing Registration No JK02CU 7653, one tipper bearing Registration No JK02CM 6677, by PP Sidhra.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh , SHO PS Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq, IC PP Phallain mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal and I/C PP Sidhra PSI Arun Kumar in their respective jurisdiction. DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
