JAMMU, Sept 25: Congress leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has raised serious concerns regarding the increasing call drop issues being faced by Airtel customers.
In a statement issued here today, the Congress leader said for the last few weeks, the Airtel customers have been experiencing frequent call drops, which have resulted in considerable inconvenience and frustration. Customers have been reaching out to the telecom giant, expecting prompt resolution of this problem, but their concerns seem to have fallen on deaf ears, he added.
Tony stated, "Airtel has a responsibility towards its customers, and the increasing instances of call drops are a clear violation of that responsibility. It is unacceptable that customers are being charged for calls that do not even last a few seconds due to call drops. This amounts to nothing less than daylight robbery."
Expressing his deep concern for the affected Airtel customers, Tony warned, "If Airtel does not take immediate and concrete steps to correct the call dropping issue within the next few days, we will be constrained to move the Consumer Forum and Honorable Court to seek justice for the customers who have been looted of their hard-earned money through these call drops."
Tony urged the senior functionaries of Airtel to prioritize the interests of its customers and ensure that their grievances are addressed promptly. He also called upon the General Manager of Airtel to take immediate action to resolve this issue and prevent further customer dissatisfaction. |
