Jammu, Sept 25: Ritika Trehan, Chief Spokesperson of BJP Mahila Morcha in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, paid heartfelt homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary. In her tribute, she acknowledged Deendayal Upadhyay as a prominent thinker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and a co-founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the precursor to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Trehan expressed, “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji’s ideals inspire us to serve the poor and make a positive difference in their lives.” She humbly paid her respects to the great leader and profound thinker, highlighting his enduring influence.
Ritika Trehan further extolled Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya, emphasizing its continuous role as a guiding force for the nation’s future. She credited Upadhyaya’s life as an embodiment of social harmony and patriotism.
Describing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as a master of Indian politics with a rich and versatile background, she noted his enduring efforts to safeguard and preserve India’s culture and values.
His ideas, rooted in integral humanism and Antyodaya, provided a progressive ideology for the nation.
Trehan also commended Upadhyaya as an exceptional organizer who laid the foundation for alternative politics, aimed at integrating marginalized and underprivileged sections of society into the mainstream. She portrayed him as a great nationalist, humanist, and visionary.
Quoting Deendayal Upadhyaya, Trehan emphasized his belief that to truly understand the essence of India, one should view the country through a cultural lens rather than merely from political or economic perspectives.
