KATHUA, Sept 25: Government Degree College for Women, Kathua, reverberated with the spirit of community service as it celebrated National Service Scheme (NSS) Day on September 25, 2023, a day dedicated to honoring the legacy of NSS founder Shri Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. This event, marked by enthusiasm and fervor, brought together students and faculty members to commemorate the essence of NSS.
The celebration commenced with an inspirational speech by Dr. Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme Officer, who underscored the significance of selfless service to society, motivating students to actively participate in community service endeavors.
NSS volunteers proudly took the NSS pledge, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to serving the nation and making a positive impact on the community.
Several dedicated NSS volunteers delivered speeches, showcasing their enthusiasm and determination to contribute meaningfully to society.
