| JUTA regrets denial of audience with CM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 3- The Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA) has expressed anguish and pain over the denial of an opportunity to its delegation to meet the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The Association in a handout said that the delegation of its office bearers led by the Acting Vice Chancellor and Dean Academic Affairs of the Jammu University, Prof BPS Sehgal had sought time with the Chief Minister, who is also the Pro Chancellor of the University, for today to present their demand for elevating the status of the University of Jammu from State to the Central University. Due to his other "political assignments" the delegation was attended by his political advisor DS Rana. In spite of bringing home the importance of the issue, the delegation was not 'allowed' to personally meet the CM which was highly regrettable.
