CBC J&K, Ladakh organize Swachta Hi Seva activities across Union Territories

JAMMU, Sept 27: Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and its field offices in the Union Territories organized various activities under the Swachta Hi Seva campaign. These events aimed to raise awareness about the Swachh Bharat Mission and promote cleanliness and hygiene.
CBC Udhampur organized a one-day Integrated Outreach and Communication Programme on Swachta Hi Seva at Government Higher Secondary School, Chanuta, Udhampur. CBC Anantnag held a similar event at Government Higher Secondary School, Bijbehara, Kashmir. CBC Rajouri organized the program at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Chingus, Block Doongi in Rajouri district. CBC Doda conducted activities at Government Middle School Ghat, Block Doda.
The programs aimed to intensify awareness campaigns about the Swachh Bharat Mission, which seeks to eliminate open defecation in India and promote a clean and green environment.
Throughout the day-long programs organized by CBC field offices, various activities took place, including seminars and expert lectures on Swachta Hi Seva, as well as Shramdaan (voluntary labor) activities. Rallies featuring students and NCC Cadets carrying placards related to cleanliness and hygiene were organized, spreading awareness among the masses as they passed through different areas.
