KATRA, Sept 27: Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Regional Office, Jammu (J&K and Ladakh), along with its Field Office in Udhampur, plans to increase its participation and activities during the upcoming annual Navratra Festival in Katra, taking place from October 15th to 23rd, 2023.
A review meeting was held, chaired by the organizing committee's Chairman, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, in Katra.
CBC will organize a multimedia exhibition in the form of a large and medium Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) throughout the nine-day festival.
The exhibition will focus on various themes, including "9 Years of Governance," "Mission LiFE," and "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat," along with showcasing other schemes and initiatives.
Devotional cultural programs and theme-based performances related to Centrally Sponsored schemes will be presented by CBC.
Cultural troupes from more than nine regions of CBC across the country will participate in the festival.
CBC's platform at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Katra, will be made available for various departments, schools, and organizations to organize competitions and showcase their talents.
Troupes affiliated with CBC will take part in Prabhat Pheri and Shobha Yatra to endorse the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director of CBC, shared these plans and initiatives during the review meeting.
