DC Poonch reviews ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign

JAMMU, Sept 27:: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin M. Choudhary on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign in the district.
During the meeting, the DC sought details regarding the activities to be carried out by the line departments on the occasion of Swachhata Hi Seva program. He instructed the officials of all departments to upload the activities to be performed on October 01 and before as well.
The Deputy Commissioner issued directives to the officials, emphasizing the need for cohesive teamwork in preparing the program schedule and ensuring active participation from all departments,public representatives and general public.
During the meeting, various initiatives regarding cleanliness undertaken by MC Poonch, RDD, Tourism, and other relevant departments were discussed. The participants also deliberated on similar activities to be organized as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Program.
All concerned officials were directed to upload their live activities on Swachhata web portal https://swachhatahiseva.com
He also discussed a range of activities scheduled for October 1st, such as cleanliness drives, large-scale initiatives, innovations, and engaging the community.
It was further decided that a mega cleanliness drive would be conducted at Poonch Fort on the 1st of October under the same campaign.
Additionally, the meeting discussed promoting event highlights through social media handles, including tweets and cross-promotions.

Asstt. Commissioner Panchayat, Asstt. Commissioner (Dev), Principal Degree College, Tehsildar Haveli, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, BDO Poonch, District Coordinator NYC, Chief Executive Officer, MCP, Asstt. Floriculture Officer, Tehsildar Headquarter and other concerned.
