Jammu, Feb 3- Professor Shohab Inayat Malik, Department of Urdu University of Jammu has been appointed as Associate Dean Student Welfare in addition to his existing duties till further orders..
In this connection a formal order was issued today by Registrar University of Jammu Prof. GS Sambyal. Before this assignment Professor Shohab was Assistant Dean Student Welfare.
Prof. Malik has a vast experience of organizing cultural activities. Author of seven books in Urdu, Professor Malik is associated with member of Cultural and Literary organizations of the subcontinent.
He is also the secretary General of All India University Urdu Teachers Association besides the vice president of "Funkar Cultural Organization". Professor Shohab is also the President of Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society. He is actively involved in the peace process of South associated as Secretary "J&K Forum for Peace and Reconciliation".
