Shiv Sena invites devotees for 41st traditional Holy Charri Yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi

JAMMU, Oct 14: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit is extending a warm invitation to devotees as they prepare for the 41st Holy Charri Yatra, following traditional customs, to the holy abode of Mata Vaishno Devi. The Yatra is scheduled to commence on October 14th, starting from Raghunath ji Temple in Jammu, and will culminate with darshan and Charri poojan at the Holy Cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji on October 15th, coinciding with the first day of Navratras.
During a press conference held at the press club in Jammu, Manish Sahni, President of Shiv Sena J&K, shared details of the upcoming Charri Yatra. The spiritual journey will commence from Raghunath ji Temple on October 14th, with the devotees visiting significant spiritual locations along the way. These locations include Kol Kandoli, Deva Mai, Katra (the sacred town), Ban Ganga, Ardhkuwari, and finally, the Holy Cave of Mata Vaishno Devi on October 15th, where Charri poojan will be conducted.
Sahni emphasized that prayers during the Yatra will be offered for the restoration of peace, development, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. He extended a warm invitation to all devotees to join this spiritual journey, urging them to register by contacting the provided phone numbers. Importantly, Sahni highlighted that this journey is entirely free, with a Bhandara (community meal) organized at Kol Kandoli Temple in Nagrota.
Sahni also mentioned that devotees and Shiv Sainiks from various states, including Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Gujarat, will come to Jammu to seek the blessings of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. The press conference was attended by several prominent members of the Shiv Sena, including Meenakshi Chibber, President of the Mehila Wing, Rakesh Charman Gupta, Vice President, Balwant Singh, President of the Kamghar Wing, and Raj Singh and Shashipal, among others.
