| Hard-core criminal booked under PIT NDPS Act by PP Belicharana Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: An information was received at PP Belicharana through reliable sources regarding one notorious drug peddler namely Narvir Singh S/o Jagjeet Singh R/o Upper Belicharana Jammu.
On this a special police team of PP Belicharana led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by I/C PP Belicharana SI Sugreev Kumar raided at the suspected place and arrested the above said drug peddler.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused person was a notorious criminal and was involved in many cases of drug peddling and dealing in narcotics. Also a warrant of arrest was issued against the said accused by Divisonal commissioner Jammu.
Finally today in compliance to the directions of Divisional commissioner Jammu, under order No. Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PITNDPS) 44 of 2023 Dated 27-09-2023 the accused person has been arrested and has been shifted to Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu. |
