JAMMU, Oct 4: Aarushi Thakur Rana, the UK representative of Natrang, has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Birmingham Awards in the United Kingdom. The Birmingham Awards serve as a unique platform to celebrate and honor the continuous contributions of outstanding individuals in the city of Birmingham. Organized by the co-founders of B EVENTS Media, the Birmingham Awards 2023 ceremony promises an evening of glamour, recognition, and pride for the city of Birmingham. This remarkable event is scheduled to take place on November 4th, 2023, at the Holte Suite, Villa Park, Birmingham, UK.
Born and raised in Jammu, Aarushi Thakur Rana has been actively involved in acting and directing theatre at Natrang Jammu. Since relocating to the UK in 2018, she has established herself as a seasoned Theatre Director, Writer, and Actor. She has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham Repertory Theatre. In addition, in 2022, she founded a thriving marketing firm dedicated to promoting local businesses throughout the broader Birmingham area, building a prominent presence on Instagram.
Aarushi Thakur Rana holds the distinction of being the first individual from Jammu and Kashmir, India, to debut as a director at prestigious venues, including the Nehru Centre in London's Mayfair, the Zoroastrian Centre in London (2019), the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai (2018), and the Kingdom of Dreams in Delhi (2017). Her creative portfolio boasts over 30 full-length plays that she has both authored and directed. Furthermore, Aarushi has contributed her acting talents to the production and execution of an impressive 300 plays, gaining recognition on national and international stages in countries such as Russia, Germany, London, and India.
Aarushi Thakur Rana is a multifaceted talent based in the United Kingdom, known for her contributions to marketing and the performing arts. She currently works in the Marketing department at the prestigious Aston University. With a commitment to supporting local businesses and a remarkable background in theater, she continues to make a significant impact in both the business and artistic communities. Her nomination for the Birmingham Awards is a testament to her outstanding achievements and contributions to the city of Birmingham.
