SRINAGAR, Oct 5: In a heartwarming and appreciative gesture, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce organized a felicitation program to honor the Safai Karamcharis who diligently work to keep the college premises clean and hygienic. Dr. Surinder Kumar Sharma, the Principal of the college, presided over the event as the Chief Guest. Prof. Savita Jamwal encouraged them to work together as a team, transcending their designated areas of responsibility.
Dr. Deepak Pathania stressed the importance of the cleanliness staff working as a cohesive unit, engaging in activities such as waste segregation, compost creation, and proper disposal of solid waste. She emphasized that everyone should respect and appreciate their indispensable role in cleaning up after others, a task that can be challenging.
The college faculty members were urged to cooperate in making the working environment easier and more comfortable for the Safai Karamcharis. Following the formal part of the event, all participants enjoyed refreshments and tea. Rinku and Sunny added a lively touch to the occasion with their musical performances.
