REASI, Oct 6: ARTO Reasi Tara Mani Sharma continues taking strict action against the traffic violators, once again Motor vehicle department launched an anti enforcement drive in moori near Police Check Post Katra and challaned 42 vehicles and imposed fine with an amount of Rs 76000 from the violators on spot.
According to he report, a team of Motor vehicle department reasi led by ARTO Reasi Tara Mani Sharma , MVI Tushar Anthal nad SMVI Nikhil Sharma laid nakka near Police check post moori area of Katra. During the drive , the team checked 87 vehicles. As many as 42 vehicles were found to be operating in contravention of various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and were issued challans and an amount of Rs. 76000 cash retrieved from compounded challans imposed in various violations as per MV Act. Neither this the teaam also seized two taxi under section 207 of motor vehicle act.
When the correspondent talked with ARTO Reasi Tara Mani sharma, he told that, the enfrecemnt drive continues in district reasi and on friday again launched enforcement drive in moorinear police check post area of Katra. During the drive the 87 vehicles have been checked , in which 42 vehicles found in diferent violations of motor vehicle act. In which the 42 vehicles challaned and imposed fine with an amount of rs 76000 on spot from the violators and two taxi have seized under section 207 motor vehicles act.
He also said that, the traffic violators not spare at any cost and appealed to the buses and mini bus drive for not oveloading in the vehicles. The said drive shall continues in future.
