Jammu, Feb 4: A deputation of Jammu University teachers association (JUTA) led by its president N.K. Tripathi called on political advisor to chief minister Devender Rana for granting the status of central university to the university of Jammu.
Tripathi apprise the political adviser that once the status is granted will prove beneficial for both teachers and non-teaching staff beside scholars too as per hand out Rana , assured full help in this regard and promised to brief the Chief minister who happens to be pro-chancellor of the University of Jammu. The delegation was accompanied by Prof. B.P. Singh Seghal, Senior most professor of the University besides JUTA office bearers.
