Advisor Bhatnagar flags off CRPF Women Bike Expedition 'Yashasvini' from Jammu

JAMMU, Oct 8: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today flagged off the Yashasvini', women bike expedition by Veeranganas of CRPF from Jammu today.
The expedition is part of nationwide campaign aimed to promote National Unity and Women Empowerment across the country as well as boost 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' campaign.
Addressing the gathering, Advisor Bhatnagar congratulated all the women bikers, officers, soldiers and their families on this auspicious occasion. He highlighted that CRPF is always striving for women empowerment and Women in CRPF are not only performing the duties in hazardous terrain of J&K and North East but they are also bringing laurels in the field of sports. He remarked that they are serving in various parts of country to maintain law and order and internal security besides giving their best services in peacekeeping mission in other Countries too.
The Advisor said that Rashtriya Ekta Yatra started from Srinagar by the CRPF Women Motor Cycle Team, will pass through various states of the country and culminate after reaching Ekta Nagar, Gujarat on 31st October, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Ji. He added the bikers team will pay homage to Sardar Patel Ji.
The Advisor expressed confidence that the message of National Unity and Women Empowerment being spread by the Yasheswani women bikers of this force who will infuse new consciousness and energy among the citizens of the country so that they can fulfil their responsibilities and help in making the country stronger. He added that the message being given by the renowned women of CRPF while interacting with the society about national unity, upliftment of women, education of daughters, health of daughters and protection of environment, will leave an indelible impression in the minds of the general public, which is important for us It is a matter of pride.
In his address, the Advisor Bhatnagar also commended the valour and professionalism of the CRPF for maintaining the internal security as well as law and order of the nation. He also remembered the sacrifices of the force personnel in the service of the nation He also paid homage to the martyred bravehearts and also expressed solidarity with their families.
Pertinently, the Women Motorcycle Campaign-2023 was flagged off by Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on 3rd October from Lal Chowk Srinagar which reached Group Center CRPF, Jammu on 4th October. The Yashaswini women bikers joined various functions organized by the CRPF units deployed in Jammu region with the help of Government and Non-Government institutions under the auspices of Jammu Sector as well as under the leadership of Jammu Range CRPF through which continuous efforts were made to spread the spirit of National Unity and Women Empowerment among the common people. Apart from this, these women bikers also went to the border villages of Jammu and Kashmir, met the rural women and youth and participated in the interactive session and given insight talked about the mission of the CRPF and the participation of women in the force as well as the government's efforts for the empowerment of women in India By giving them information about the various schemes being run by the Government, they kept motivating them to move forward and to contribute in the development of the country. IG, CRPF, Jammu Sector, Sandeep Khirwar; DIG CRPF, Group Center Jammu, Naresh Kumar Yadav; DIG, Srinagar Sector CRPF, Nitu; DIG, Range Jammu, Rakesh Sethi, along with senior officers and several women were also present on this remarkable occasion.
