| Several deputations call on Farooq Abdullah | | |

JAMMU, Feb 4:
A number of deputations today called on president national conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah and apprised him about the problems being faced by the people of their respective areas. Deputation leaders from Jammu, Udhampur, Samba and Reasi pleaded for immediate redresser of their long pending demands.
A deputation from state central labour union also called on Farooq to intervene in release of 6th pay commission and conversion of colon into DA. Leaders of the deputation urged upon the NC president for adjustment of surplus staff of J&K and revival of Rick, units, beside re-possession of the office at Lal-Chowk. Abdullah assured the deputations that suitable steps will taken these directions and the representations will be forwarded to the concerned authorities with the recommendations for immediate action.
Among other present during the meet were political adviser to NC president Mohd Aslam Goni and senior NC leader Ratten Lal Gupta.
