| Father, 2 sons sentenced to 6 months imprisonment | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 04- Sub-Judge Jammu VS Bhou today convicted and sentenced Bodh Raj and his two sons, Rajesh Sharma and Mukesh Sharma resident of Jammu, who were facing trial for the commission of offence committed on August 15, 2003 to six months imprisonment u/s 323 RPC and fine of Rs 500. The Sub-Judge, after hearing Senior Prosecuting Officer, Rajesh Bakshi appearing for the state and Advocate Arti Anand appearing for the accused persons, and after going through the case and statements of the witnesses awarded sentence to all the three accused to undergo six months imprisonment with Rs 500 as fine. According to the police case one Yash Pal resident of Narwal Bala in injured condition came to police post Narwal Bala along with his father Bansi Lal and lodged a report alleging therein that accused Mukesh Kumar and Rajesh Kumar sons of Bodh Raj resident of Peermitha Jammu who had enmity with his father over land, the accused with common criminal intention attacked him near Narwal mill leaving him in a pool of blood. Following his raising hue and cry, some people came on spot, while the accused fled away. A case u/s 341/323/34 RPC was registered against the accused persons and after completion of the investigation, challan was presented in the court of law which was decided today.
