Modi Govt commits to nurturing tourism potential in J&K: BJP

JAMMU, Oct 10: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership, including former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, former MLA & BJP Spokesperson RS Pathania, and Prabhari BJYM Munish Sharma, gathered at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to listen to the public grievances and discuss the government's efforts in nurturing the tourism sector in Jammu & Kashmir.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta highlighted the Modi government's commitment to the development and promotion of tourism in the region, particularly focusing on "Religious Tourism" in Jammu. He praised the government's initiatives to boost tourism, emphasizing that every BJP worker is dedicated to this mission. Gupta also expressed satisfaction with the significant development projects undertaken to promote tourism circuits in the Jammu region under the leadership of the Modi government.
RS Pathania, former MLA and BJP Spokesperson, stressed the importance of addressing issues faced by people from all walks of life. He called for an effective grievance redressal mechanism that is both responsive and proactive, ensuring that the concerns of the public are heard and resolved.
Munish Sharma highlighted the critical issues related to electricity and water supply, urging the need for immediate attention to these concerns during the grievance camp.
The BJP Minority Morcha President, Ranjodh Nalwa, was also present during the event.
Numerous individuals and deputations from different parts of Jammu & Kashmir visited the party office to bring forth issues from their respective areas and personal concerns. BJP leaders patiently listened to these issues and, where necessary, took proactive steps to address them. They also engaged with departmental officials via telephone to expedite resolutions.
The BJP leadership's commitment to nurturing the tourism potential in Jammu & Kashmir remains steadfast, reflecting the Modi government's dedication to the region's development and the welfare of its residents. The party continues to work towards enhancing the tourism sector, with a particular emphasis on religious tourism, to promote economic growth and cultural exchange in the region.
