JAMMU, Oct 10: NSS unit of GGMSC.College Organises a event Meri Maati Merta Desh here today on 10.10.23 under the guidance of worthy principal Prof.Rajesh Gupta and supervision of Dr.Narinder Kumar.
Principal Prof.Rajesh Gupta apprised the volunteers that the word Amrit means immortality and imperishable, Kalash means Pot/Jar believed to possess amrita having Exilir of life.
NSS PO Dr.Narinder Kumar stated that the main objective of this event Meri Maati Mera Desh is to inculcate the emotional connection among all individuals, families and citizens with motto to buid a new India.
He added that NSS volunteers play a pivotal role in building a new India.The volunteers collected the soil and put in kalash in addition to rice grains. He also apprised the volunteers that the kalash having clay and rice grains will be placed in the Amrit vatika in order to tributes to the heroes who dedicated and sacrified their lives for the nation and Kalash handed over to the concerned. Large n. volunteers took part in this event and made it memorable. |
