| Support candidate representing feelings of Jammu, Arora to MLAs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 4- BJP State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora has appealed all the legislators to rise above political affiliations and support a candidate who can represent the feelings of Jammu region in true perspective.
In a statement he said BJP is supporting an Independent candidate Ashok Vijay Gupta irrespective of different ideological approach in order to save and strengthen the unity with in Jammu region, so that there is some one to plead the cause of Jammu and other parts of the state in right prospective in the Rajya Sabha.
‘He said we must rise above our political affiliation and support a candidate who can represent the feeling of Jammu region in true prospective’.
Arora has further said that BJP has realized that it is the demand of public that we should rise above the petty political interests and watch the interests of public, especially those of Jammu region. He appealed Members of the Legislative Assembly to vote in favour of Ashok Vijay Gupta to reflect their secular character, as all the Kashmir-based parties have played Kashmir-centric politics including former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said it is time to rise above the occasion and understand the gravity and demand of the situation. It is otherwise painful that National conference, Congress and PDP have not recommended even a single candidate from minority community to represent their problems that shows they wanted to represent only one area of J&K.
Ramesh Arora alleged that no definite policy has been put-forth by the present so called dynamic leader Omar Abdullah in his working and approach, which can be appreciated. He is following the old rotten and dead policies which will not yield good results, he added.
