| Hilal War leaves for Delhi for treatment | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 4- People's Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Hilal Ahmad War is leaving for Delhi today for medical treatment. War has to undergo couple of surgeries to his both eyes. It is pertinent to mention here that War's eye sight got affected during his recent detention when he was detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) in July, 2008.
The Jammu and Kashmir High Court had passed an order on December 04, 2008 whereof the state administration and Jail authorities were directed to shift War immediately to All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) for medical treatment as was advised and recommended by medical board which was constituted by SMHS Hospital administration on the direction of High Court. The State administration and the Jail authorities defied the court orders which further deteriorated the eye sight of War.
Immediately after the release of PPP Chief, he was again examined and subsequently advised by team of Doctors and his Physician Dr. Yasin Bhat to rush for medical treatment in order to save his eye sight.
