Jammu, Oct 10: Expressing it’s gratitude to relief organisation especially assistant commissioner Reyaz Ahmad and Zonal officer Dr Syed Namaz Shah, AEE R&B and other officers who did extensive tour to Jagti camp on the directions of the RRCM K K Sidha and took stock of the problems being faced by the camp inmates, the officers also heard the grievances of the camp dwellers and instructed all the concerned to follow the instructions and guidelines properly. Both officers were accompanied by the Jagti Migrants welfare Movement members who requested the officer to visit the camp.
JMWM put forth the following demands before the officers. Repair and renovation of the buildings and their roof top. Proper sanitation of the camp especially back side drains, as most of the drains are full of garbage and people are facing bad smell.
Repair, renovation, levelling and plantation in the parks.
Repair and renovation of the main drains and by lane drains.
Installation of the street lights.
Repair and renovation of the community halls.
Regular water supply be ensured.
Floor which has been stopped be immediately released.
The migrants also expressed their gratitude to RRCM for providing on line service facilities and e-office service in the department.
