This event was dedicated to showcasing unity, patriotism, and to express gratitude and pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our beloved nation. The "Amrit Kalash Yatra" event, a vital component of the "Meri Mati Mera Desh" campaign, was designed to instill a deep sense of pride and love for our motherland. It served as an extraordinary spectacle that displayed the rich cultural heritage of India and reinforced the significance of preserving our national values. Principal Dr. Meeru Abrol, students, and faculty members actively participated in this noble endeavor by bringing soil and rice from their respective homes. These symbolic materials were then collected in beautifully decorated Amrit Kalash (holy water vessels) to form a procession that traveled around the college campus in a Kalash Yatra. Dr. Meeru Abrol, the Principal of GCW Bhagwati Nagar, delivered an inspiring message to the students, emphasizing the importance of nurturing patriotism and unity among the youth. She stated, "We firmly believe that occasions like the Kalash Yatra 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' are indispensable for instilling a deep sense of pride and affection for our nation in the hearts of young individuals. India's diverse blend of cultures, languages, and traditions is something to be cherished and safeguarded, and the college is wholeheartedly committed to this endeavor." This remarkable event was orchestrated by Dr. Mosmi Raina, the Convenor of the Eco Club, and Prof. Anju Bala, NSS Program Officer. Their dedication and leadership in organizing this event demonstrated the college's commitment to nurturing a deep-rooted love for the nation among its students and faculty. |
