Inter-Collegiate volleyball (women) tournament 2023-24 held

JAMMU, Oct 12: On the third day ongoing Inter-Collegiate Women Volleyball Tournament organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Jammu quarter matches were played.
The following results of the matches:
GDC Ramnagar beat GMC Rajouri by (2-0) set score (25-08, 25-03)
PG Deptt. JU beat GDC Poonch by (2-0) set score (25-10, 25-08)
GCW Parade beat GDC Mendher by (2-1) set score (21-25, 25-07,25-07)
The matches were officiated by Mulkh Raj, Amit Sharma, Shubham, Anil, Buneet Singh and Manu Singh Pawar Intercollegiate, chess men and woman championship 2023-24.
On the fourth day of the above said championship organised by the directorate of sports and physical education, University of Jammu at the university gymnasium hall, the following matches were played.
Men's section: qualified matches of the men's sections are played with the following result:
PG Department, JU beat GDC Kathua by 3-2 points
GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Nowshera by 4-0 points
MIET jammu beat GDC Gaghwal by 3-1 points.
GCET Jammu beat GDC Poonch by 2.5- 0.5 points
Tomorrow in men's section semi-final and final matches will be played in the morning and evening session respectively.
Women's section: semi-final matches of the women's section are played with the following results
PG Department. JU beat Ramnagar by 4-0 points and reaches final
GCW Udhampur beat GDC Poonch by 3.5 a 0.5 points, and also reaches the final
The final matches will be played tomorrow at 1 PM at the same venue
The matches were conducted under the supervisor of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba Director Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu. The matches were officiated by S. P Sharma, Sushil Sawhney, S. Inderjeet Singh and Padam Dev Singh.
Tomorrow the final matches of the men section will played will be played at 1:00pm.
