UDHAMPUR, Oct 12: Under the scheme titled "Student Police Cadet" 10 days course on "Basic Training for Implementation of Student Police Cadet (SPC) Scheme" which commenced at S.K Police Academy Udhampur on 3 rd October 2023 concluded today. (21) Officers of the rank of SI and Inspectors of J&K Police attended the said training course. The basic objective of organizing this course is to implement the Student Police Cadet Scheme in the field level and to equip the participants with the basic concept of Prevention and Control of Crime, Fight against Social evils, Attitude, Disaster Management, Road Safety and Traffic awareness, Community Policing and Students, Fight against corruption, Safety of Woman and Children, Patience, Tolerance, Respecting Elders, Team Spirit and Empathy & Sympathy for further implementation in the field under SPC Scheme.
A Valediction function was organized in the Academy. Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, Dy. Director SKPA was the chief guest of the occasion of validation. During his Valedictory address Sh. Gupta emphasis upon the importance of the Student Police Cadet Scheme and its future perspectives in context to Policing.
To achieve the objectives of the training programme, Police Hqrs J&K deputed the Master Trainers namely Shri Davinder Singh, Dy.SP, Shri Rakesh Akarm, Dy.SP, Jagpal Sharma, Dy.SP, Inspector Pawan Kumar and Inspector Kuljeet Singh to SKPA for delivering the lectures to the participants of the course. The course was co-ordinated by Shri Sukhvir Singh, Dy.SP, assisted by ASI Rajinder Singh. |
