| KVIB sponsored 48 cases to various banks in Reasi | | | Early Times Report
REASI, FEBRUARY 4 (INFO)- In order to provide loan facilities for setting up of income generating units by the un-employed youth of the Reasi district, the Khadi Village Industry Board, Reasi sponsored 48 cases to various banks for advancing loans to the beneficiaries under various categories up to ending January this year.
It was disclosed by the District Officer, Khadi Village Industry Board here at Reasi today.
The project cost to be involved for providing loans by various banks to the beneficiaries is Rs.81.00 lakh. Out of 53 cases, 48 cases were cleared during the Task Force Committee meeting held last month, convened under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Mr. Sanjeev Verma. Interviews of un-employed candidates from all over the Reasi district were conducted who were desirous to start their own income generating units to raise their socio economic conditions by obtaining loan faculties under various categories of the KVIB schemes.
District Officer, KVIB, Reasi further apprised that presently over one hundred schemes are available with theKhadi Village Industry board for the un-employed youth of the district. He asked the un-employed youth of the Reasi district to come forward and avail the benefits of such schemes by availing loan facilities with subsidy component by setting up of their own income generating units in their respective areas to raise their living standard.
