Jammu, Oct 12: A detailed crime and security review meeting was held by Sunil Kumar, IPS, ADGP Railways J&K at Railway Police Hqrs Jammu (Camp).
The meeting was attended by Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Railways Jammu, Albeena Malik, SDPO Railways Jammu, Naresh Kumar, DySP GRP Lines Jammu and Niaz Ahmed SHO PS GRP Jammu.
During the meeting, ADGP Railways reviewed the old and fresh cases and issued necessary directions and guidelines to the officers for speedy disposal of under investigation cases. The emphasis was given to finalize the under investigation cases as early as possible. In view of upcoming festivals like Navratra, Deepawali and other important religious festivals, the officers were told to intensify patrolling and checking in their respective areas.
The officers were directed to pay surprise visits to the important deployment points and sensitive locations to check the security preparedness of the jawans deployed on security duties. In view of the huge rush of passengers anticipated to arrive at Railway station Jammu during the upcoming festive season, ADGP Railways J&K stressed to further strengthen the deployment on tracks exclusively at Railway station Jammu. |
