Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 15: Jodhamal Public School, a beacon of educational excellence in Jammu and Kashmir, has once again achieved a remarkable feat. For the ninth consecutive year, it has been honored with the distinction of being the top-ranked school in the state of J&K in the prestigious India School Rankings 2023-24, as published by the highly regarded Education World Magazine.
This year, the school has soared to new heights, earning the prestigious Rank 1+ in both J&K and Jammu in the category of Co-Ed Day Schools. Over the past 17 years, Education World, in collaboration with C-Fore, has conducted a nationwide survey in which over 15,000 top schools from across India participate. These rankings are widely recognized as the most authentic and objective assessments in the Indian school and college landscape due to their unbiased and comprehensive surveys.
Jodhamal Public School's continued success can be attributed to its consistent improvement across 14 key parameters, including Academic Reputation, Faculty Competence, Co-Curricular Activities, Infrastructure, Discipline, Community Service, Sports Education, Leadership, Management Quality, Life Skills, and Teacher-Student Ratio.
The rigorous survey process involved more than 25,000 interviews with parents, principals, teachers, and senior school students in 350 cities across the country. These participants were tasked with rating schools in their respective regions on a ten-point scale based on the 14 parameters of educational excellence.
Recently, the award-winning schools from various states were honored in New Delhi, where Girish Kumar, Principal of Jodhamal School, accepted this prestigious award on behalf of the institution. Notable schools like Vasant Valley School, The Doon School, Mayo College, DPS RK Puram, Mayo College Girls' School, The Cathedral and John Canon School Mumbai, Sanskriti School New Delhi, Mallya International Bangalore, Modern School New Delhi, Welham Girls' School Dehradun, Scindia School Gwalior, and others were recognized alongside Jodhamal Public School.
Speaking on behalf of the organizers, Dilip Thakore, Bhavin Shah, Summiya Yasmeen, and other members of Education World, extended their congratulations to all the winners. They also emphasized the shift from purely academic-focused education to holistic education and discussed the evolution of education in the 21st century to meet the changing needs of the times.
Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee of Jodhamal School, expressed his joy and pride, stating, "The award is a testimony of the hard work, dedication, and sense of purpose of each and every stakeholder of the Jodhamal fraternity." He extended his gratitude to the staff, students, and parents for their collaborative effort and dedication, which made this prestigious award possible.
