| 5.2 grams of heroin and two Sharp edged weapons recovered by Police Station R.S Pura Jammu. Two peddlers arrested | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 5.2 grams of Heroin along with two Sharp edged weapons from two accused persons who were coming in a vehicle bearing Registration No JK02CG-7732. Which was on its way from Tohana Tibba towards Satraiyan, while on Naka duty near Shamshan Ghat, Satraiyan road
A police team of PS R.S Pura led by SDPO R.S Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO PS R.S Pura Inspr Pawan Kumar and PSI Aziz Tariq while on naka duty rounded up two suspects namely:-
1.Deepak Gupta @ Monu S/o Vijay Gupta R/o W.No 05 R.S Pura Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu, caught with 03 grams of heroin and one sharp edged weapon
2 Rakesh Gupta @ Rocky S/o Jameet Raj R/o W.Nk 13 R.S Pura District Jammu, caught with 2.2 grams of heroin and one sharp edged weapon
In total, 5.2 grams of heroin and two sharp edged weapons were recovered from them.
On this Case FIR No 153/2023 U/S 8/21/22/25/29 NDPS Act, 4/25 Arms Act got registered at PS R.S Pura and accused got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
