JAMMU, FEB 4: The State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah approved the following transfers and postings in the Police Department.
Rouf-ul-Hassan, IPS, presently posted as DIG, Vigilance, J&K has been transferred and posted as DIG, Armed, Kashmir against an available vacancy.
Viplav Kumar, IPS, presently posted as AIG (CIV), PHQ, has been transferred and posted as SSP, Baramulla, vice Mr. S. Anand Jain.
G. A. Dar, IPS, presently posted as CO, IR 5th Bn, has been transferred and posted as SSP, Railways, Kashmir against an available vacancy.
S. Anand Jain, IPS, presently posted as SSP, Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as AIG (Prov/Tpt), PHQ, vice Mr. Ashiq Hussain Bukhari.
Ashkoor Ahmad Wani, IPS, presently posted as Principal, STC, Talwara, has been transferred and posted as CO, IR 6th Bn, vice Mr. Vijay Kumar.
Nissar Ahmad, IPS, presently posted as SSP, Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as CO, IR 5th Bn, vice Mr. G. A. Dar.
