RAJOURI, Oct 17: In a proactive effort to monitor and enhance the progress of Rural Development Department Schemes, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today conducted a comprehensive review meeting focusing on several crucial developmental programs. The meeting, which featured a detailed examination of key projects, reaffirmed the commitment of the district administration to advancing rural development and improving the quality of works.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and Awas Plus, the DC undertook a thorough review block-wise. It was informed that out of a target, an impressive 31,480 houses have already been successfully completed. Noting a gap between the first and second installment, the DC emphasized the need to bridge the gap at the earliest. The DC asked the officers to expedite the achievement of targets under PMAY-G and Awas Plus, highlighting the importance of providing quality housing to those in need.
