Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 17: Manish Sahni, President of Shiv Sena (UBT), Jammu and Kashmir, has vehemently denounced the recent threats and intimidation directed at Hindu and Sikh families residing in the Poonch district. He has issued a stern warning to terrorist organizations engaged in nefarious activities and hooliganism, emphasizing the need for Hindu and Sikh families in border areas to stand strong against these threats and to request arms and licenses from the government for their self-defense.
In a press conference held at the Party's Regional Office in Jammu, Manish Sahni drew attention to the emergence of posters threatening the evacuation of Hindus and Sikhs in the Degwar sector near the Pakistan border. He underscored the seriousness of these threats and called for them not to be taken lightly. Sahni asserted that the Hindu and Sikh communities, known for their resilience, will not be intimidated by such acts and must respond resolutely. He urged them to demand arms and licenses for self-protection from the government, considering the prevailing security concerns.
Sahni further emphasized the necessity for stringent action against individuals or groups issuing threats against the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the armed forces. He called upon the government to take swift measures to ensure the safety and security of all residents, especially in border areas that are vulnerable to such threats.
During the press conference, Manish Sahni was joined by General Secretary Vikas Bakshi and Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, highlighting the united stand of Shiv Sena (UBT) in supporting the affected communities and their call for self-defense and security.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) stands in solidarity with the Hindu and Sikh families in Poonch and will continue to advocate for their safety, while also pressing for necessary actions to safeguard the region and its residents from potential harm.
